New Items in the Rainbow Beloved Etsy Store Week of 12/18/22 - Buttons!

I'm a veteran of using Etsy to sell items - my partner has an Etsy store for handcrafted wood décor items, and she's been selling on the platform for about 10 years now.

When I had the grand idea of creating Rainbow Beloved, I also had the grand idea of being able to sell LGBTQ+ affirming merchandise - t-shirts, water bottles, art prints, etc.  I definitely don't have the capabilities of creating these things myself like my partner does with her woodworking skills, so I ventured into the world of print on demand items.

This week, I found a company where I can make buttons!

I love a good button, and I love how you can very precisely speak your mind without saying a word.

Image of a jean jacket that has been buttoned and folded. A large button is on the should above the pocket. On the button is a colorful image of LGBTQ protestors with the words "We Won't Be Silenced" superimposed on the graphic.Image of the shoulder of someone wearing a black shirt underneath an open jean jacket. On the should of the jean jacket is a large button with an image of an open bible, with the words "Hate is NOT a Family Value" superimposed on the graphic.

Visit the Rainbow Beloved shop on Etsy and check out some of the buttons I'm adding this week.

A lot of my buttons are inspired by the recent and interesting news coming out of Texas (again) regarding the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton requesting a list of everyone who has changed their gender marker on their Driver's License within the last two years.

Why do you want this list, Mr. Paxton?  Exactly what good will come out of having a list of folks who have changed their gender marker?  I'm going to assume you are plotting something nefarious.

It's absolutely maddening to think of the lengths these politicians are willing to go to attempt to erase the queer community.

We must resist.

Stay safe, my friends.
